    Ramoji Rao, the legendary figure in Telugu media, passed away at the age of 88 in a private hospital in Hyderabad at 4.50 am on Saturday. He had been ill for some time before his passing.

    His body has been moved to his residence in Ramoji Film City, where his family, friends, and supporters can pay their respects. Ramoji Rao was known for revolutionizing Telugu journalism with the launch of Eenadu newspaper, which gained global recognition. He was also a pioneer in embracing new technologies and ventured into electronic media with the establishment of Etv.

    Moreover, he created Ramoji Film City, a hub for filmmakers to bring their ideas to life on the big screen. Ramoji Rao’s contributions have left a lasting impact on the Telugu media industry and beyond.
