    In an important breakthrough against organized crime, the Crime Staff of Rajendra Nagar Police Station, along with the CCS Rajendra Nagar Zone, arrested five individuals, including four burglars and one receiver. These arrests are connected to a series of house burglaries. The police were able to solve five different cases across the areas of Rajendranagar, Raidurgam, and Pet Bhasheerbagh police stations.

    The police also recovered about 600 grams of gold and diamond jewelry, worth around Rs 35 lakhs. In addition, a Bajaj Discover motorcycle with the registration number AP29CB425 was seized during the operation.

    Arrested Individuals:

    1. Gunjapogu Sudhakar (also known as Sai, Salman, Kaka, Danger, Antony), a 33-year-old auto driver from Sriramnagar Colony, Mehdipatnam.
    2. Bandari Samson (alias Lucky), a 22-year-old car washer from Cleanway Washing Service Centre in Saroornagar.
    3. Shanidev Salunke (alias Sunny), a 20-year-old welder from Narayanaguda Colony, Kothur.
    4. Amarjeet Singh (alias Amar), a 31-year-old driver from Kothur.
    5. Gunjapogu Suresh (also known as Surya, Suri), a 30-year-old car driver from Attapur and brother of Gunjapogu Sudhakar.

    Criminal Background:

    Gunjapogu Sudhakar has a long history of involvement in property crimes, reportedly committing around 50 such offenses. He has been jailed multiple times and was previously arrested under the PD Act by the Asifnagar Police. While in prison, he befriended Bandari Samson and Shanidev Salunke, and they later teamed up to plan more crimes.

    Seized Items:

    The police recovered various pieces of jewelry, including:
    – A gold necklace with stones weighing 267 grams
    – A gold peacock necklace weighing 62 grams
    – Gold bangles and earrings

    In total, they seized about 600 grams of gold and diamond ornaments.

    Criminal Cases Solved:

    The arrests helped solve several cases, including:
    1. Cr. No: 667/2024 under Raidurgam Police Station
    2. Cr. No: 888/2024 under Rajendranagar Police Station
    3. Cr. No: 784/2024 under Petbhasheerabag Police Station
    4. Cr. No: 785/2024 under Petbhasheerabag Police Station
    5. Cr. No: 921/2024 under Rajendranagar Police Station

    This successful operation highlights the police’s dedication and teamwork in protecting public safety. Senior officials like DCP Sri Ch. Srinivas and ACP Sri T. Srinivas supervised the investigation. The efforts of the Rajendranagar Police Station and CCS team have been praised, and they are expected to receive rewards for their excellent work in fighting crime.
