A large number of people registered to run for office in the state on Thursday. Many ministers, including CM KCR, and senior leaders from different parties filed their nominations in their respective areas. There were demonstrations of strength and big rallies during the nomination process.
One interesting incident happened with Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who is running as a Congress candidate from Munugodu in Nalgonda district. He had to file his nomination at the last minute on Thursday. Before filing the nomination, he held a huge rally where many Congress workers and his fans gathered.
Due to other leaders filing their nominations on the same day, there was heavy traffic and Rajagopal Reddy’s vehicle couldn’t reach the office on time. As a result, he had to run to the office at the last moment to file his nomination. His vehicle was parked 500 meters away from the office, so he had to run with his security and followers. Pictures and videos of this incident are going viral.
