During the 90-minute discussion, Venugopal reviewed the party’s performance over the past year. The review included evaluating ministers’ roles, promises made and fulfilled, and the progress of pending guarantees. Concerns were raised about poor coordination among party leaders, particularly in responding to opposition criticism of the Chief Minister.

The meeting also discussed filling vacant nominated posts, such as chairpersons for various corporations. Leaders deliberated on the need for cabinet expansion and restructuring the TPCC executive committee.

These steps are seen as essential preparations for the upcoming MLC elections. Venugopal also sought Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s suggestions for potential candidates to fill these positions.
