Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met Telangana Jana Samithi chief professor Kodandaram at VPark Hotel in Karimnagar. They discussed the alliance for the upcoming elections. They talked about the strategy to face the BRS. Kodandaram emphasized the need for political reunification in Telangana and decided to ally with Congress for the benefit of the state.
As part of the alliance, Telangana Jana Samithi is aiming for seats in Muthol, Ellareddy, Korutla, and Zaheerabad where Congress is weak. Kodandaram mentioned that TJS was formed to bring down the dictatorial rule of KCR. KC Venu Gopal and Revanth Reddy also attended the meeting.
On the third day of his visit, Rahul Gandhi will participate in Congress Vijaya Bheri Bus Yatra. He will leave Karimnagar VPark Hotel and have a corner meeting at Gangadhara in Choppadandi Assembly Constituency. Later, he will address a public meeting in Nizamabad.
