Hyderabad: Rahul Gandhi accused Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of AIMIM and Hyderabad MP, of having a clear understanding with the BJP. Speaking at a public meeting in Nampally, Rahul targeted Asad and questioned why he is not facing any cases from the Central Agencies. Rahul alleged that Asad supports Modi, which is why he has no cases against him and his Parliament membership was cancelled. He also mentioned that he himself has 24 cases against him and is facing defamation cases for about two years.
Rahul went on to explain how AIMIM and BJP join forces to damage the Congress at the national level. He used examples from states like Assam to support his claim. According to Rahul, both parties help each other by fielding AIMIM candidates suggested by the BJP to counter the Congress.
Rahul also talked about the alleged Kaleshwaram scam and criticized the Centre for not taking action. He questioned why KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is not facing any cases and asserted that the Congress will first oust KCR and then defeat Modi at the Centre.
During a joint roadshow with Priyanka Gandhi and PCC chief A Revanth Reddy, Rahul emphasized how the Congress played a crucial role in making Telangana a reality. He urged voters to support the party in order to fulfill the dream of Telangana. Rahul also expressed his gratitude to the people of Telangana for their support to his family in the past and assured them that he and his sister are their soldiers in Delhi.
