Raghav Chadha predicts BJP's defeat in 2024 without a PM candidate, drawing comparisons to Congress' loss in 1977

Raghav Chadha, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), made another statement about the Prime Ministerial candidate of the ‘INDIA’ Alliance. In an interview with the news agency PTI, Chadha mentioned the political situation in 1977 and used former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as an example. He predicted a similar scenario in 2024, where the opposition won without having a PM face. Chadha clarified that the Aam Aadmi Party is not running for the prime minister post, unlike the BJP.

Chadha mentioned that the concerns raised by the people will be discussed in the coordination committee meeting of the ‘INDIA’ alliance on September 13. He is a member of this committee and the meeting will take place at the residence of Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar in Delhi. The discussion will focus on how to communicate these issues to the public through rallies, door-to-door campaigns, or public meetings, state-wise.

Chadha also addressed the controversy surrounding Sanatan Dharma. He defended the opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ by stating that the statements made by any small leader of a party cannot be considered as the official standpoint of the alliance.
