Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Sudhir Babu IPS, visited Sarur Nagar pond today to inspect the area in preparation for the upcoming Ganesh Navratri celebrations. The visit was part of efforts to ensure a smooth and safe Ganesh immersion process.
After the inspection, Commissioner Sudhir Babu spoke to the media, assuring that all necessary arrangements are being made. He mentioned that eight cranes will be set up at Sarur Nagar for the immersion activities. Additional amenities such as barricades, fresh water, swimming pools, and proper lighting will also be provided. These preparations are being coordinated with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
To ensure safety during the immersion day, the Commissioner announced that 55 CCTV cameras will be installed around the area to prevent any incidents. He also highlighted the importance of inter-departmental cooperation and noted that a coordination meeting has been held with officials from various government departments to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Praveen Kumar IPS and other senior officers were also present during the inspection, reflecting the Rachakonda police’s dedication to maintaining safety and security during the festival.
