The BRS will be giving a presentation to public representatives at the Medigadda reservoir as part of the ‘Chalo Medigadda’ call by the party. This is in response to government allegations about the project. The party has stated that only three pillars were damaged, not the entire Kaleshwaram project. Senior leader T Harish Rao will explain the benefits and extent of the project’s impact.

On March 1, party leaders KTR and Harish Rao will take public representatives, MPs, MLAs, irrigation experts, and senior party leaders to visit the project site. They will study the alleged damage to three pillars in one block of the barrage. The leaders have sought permission for the program and have planned a route from Telangana Bhavan to Medigadda.

KTR has urged party members to expose Congress’ alleged conspiracies regarding the project. He released a pamphlet on ‘Chalo Medigadda’ in Sircilla. Rao accused Congress of trying to demolish the Kaleshwaram project for votes in upcoming elections. He criticized the government for planning to defame BRS with false allegations while neglecting repairs to the damaged pillars.

The program will start at 8:30 am on Friday and will pass through several locations before reaching Medigadda. The goal is to provide a firsthand look at the project and address concerns raised by the government.
