The BRS party in Telangana is protesting against the Congress government’s decision on the layout regularisation scheme. Demonstrations will be held today at various offices in Hyderabad. Tomorrow, the party plans to submit petitions to the District Collector and RDO in protest.

The BRS party accused the Congress government of breaking their promises regarding the LRS scheme. They claim that the government previously blocked such schemes but is now implementing them. The party is demanding that the LRS scheme be implemented for free, as originally promised.

In response to the protests, the Congress government has ordered departments to speed up the examination of pending LRS applications from 2020. They aim to complete the regularization process by March 31. Tensions are rising between the BRS party and the Congress government over the layout regularization scheme in Telangana.
