In Miryalaguda, former MLA Nallamothu Bhaskar Rao led a protest rally on Saturday against the arrest of MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha by the ED. Supporters and activists from the BRS joined the rally to show their opposition to what they see as undemocratic actions by the Central government.

The protest started with a rally around the town and ended with a dharna in front of the municipal complex. Bhaskar Rao criticized the BJP-led Central government for targeting opposition leaders using agencies like the ED and CBI. He claimed that Kavitha’s arrest during the parliamentary elections was a deliberate move to disrupt Telangana’s political landscape.
