    Hyderabad: Key BJP Leaders to Participate in Basti Nidra Programme

    Key BJP leaders will be taking part in the “Basti Nidra” programme across 20 locations near the River Musi areas. As part of this initiative, these leaders will be visiting and campaigning in these areas. BJP state leader Kasam Venkateswarlu announced on Friday that from November 16 to 17, the leaders will meet with local residents, stay overnight, and provide reassurance to the poor people living in these areas.

    The programme will involve about 20 slums located in the Musi catchment areas. Venkateswarlu explained that the initiative is called “sleep in slum” or “Basti Nidra,” where 20 important BJP leaders will participate in staying with the community.

    The leaders involved in the programme include corporators, local leaders, and BJP district presidents from eight districts. Venkateswarlu also emphasized that the BJP will not allow the demolition of houses belonging to poor residents in the Musi catchment area under any circumstances. The party is also demanding a detailed report on the beautification and rejuvenation of the Musi river.

    – Former Minister Krishna Yadav at Amber Pate (Ambedkar Nagar)
    – Pradeep Kumar in Karwan Assembly Constituency (Langar House)
    – Talloju Achari in Caravan Division
    – Yendala Lakshminarayana in Jiyaguda
    – Dharmarao in Bahadur Pura
    – Dr. K Laxman, Member of Rajya Sabha, in Old Malak Pate (Salivahan Nagar)
    – Bibi Patil in Residential Housing Basti, Goshamahal Constituency (Afzal Ganj)
    – Sitaram Naik in Jummerat Bazar
    – MLA Venkataramana Reddy in Jauligowda
    – Former MLC Janardhan Reddy in Hyder Guda (Bahadur Pura)
    – BJP State General Secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy in Rajendranagar (Attapur)
    – Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, MP, in Rajendranagar (Hyder Shakot)
    – Former legislators NVSS Prabhakar in Uppal (Ramanthapur)
    – MP Etala Rajender in LBnagar (Dwarakapuram Colony, Ganesh Nagar)

    This initiative by the BJP aims to connect with the local population and address their concerns directly.
