    Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari recently held a meeting with senior officials from various departments to review the progress of works affected by heavy rains and floods in July. The meeting included officials from Panchayat Raj, Revenue, R&B, Irrigation, Power, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and GHMC.

    The Chief Secretary noted that the Panchayat Raj and R&B departments had reported significant damages. However, the government has already provided compensation for death cases and completed payment for house damages.

    The meeting was attended by Special Chief Secretary Finance K Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretary Revenue Navin Mittal, Principal Secretary PR Sandeep Sultania, Secretary Health Rizvi, Secretary R&B Srinivas Raju, Secretary Disaster Management Rahul Bojja, GHMC Commissioner Ronald Rose, and other officials.
