The MS ME Assistant Director B Sridhar announced that an awareness program on PM Vishwakarma Yojana will be held at Akshaya Grand Hotel in Gadwal on Tuesday, the 27th. The program is being organized in collaboration with the district industrial development center and MSME Hyderabad to educate artisans like carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, sculptors, boat makers, locksmiths, jewelers, tanners, masons, broom makers, tailors, embroidery artists, and fish net makers about the scheme.
This scheme is beneficial for poor artisans looking to start their own self-employment. Artisans of any caste can apply for the scheme. Selected candidates will receive 5 days of skill training with a daily payment of 500 rupees. Upon completing the training, they will receive a certificate, identity card, 15,000 rupees for purchasing a professional tool kit, and access to a loan of up to 3 lakhs at a 5% interest rate.
MSME is also working on providing proper marketing facilities for products made by Vishwakarma artisans. It is important for everyone to be aware of PM Vishwakarma Yojana to help achieve the goal of a developed India.
