    Prof. V. Venkata Ramana, a professor at the School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad (UoH), has been appointed as the Director (in-charge) of the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at UoH.

    The Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) focuses on improving the skills and training of teachers and faculty members. Its goal is to enhance higher education by incorporating Indian values and traditions into teaching, research, publications, patents, and institutional development.

    According to UoH officials, Prof. Venkata Ramana previously served as the Dean of the School of Management Studies. He was later appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) for seven years. Additionally, he served as the Vice Chancellor (in-charge) of RGUKT, Basar, for more than two years.

    After completing his tenure, he returned to UoH and is now a member of the Planning Board of Indira Gandhi National Open University for a three-year term. He has also been a board member of SBH and IIFCL and has served on various committees of UGC and AICTE. Additionally, he was an expert member of a committee set up by the Ministry of Defence, Central Government.
