    In Wanaparthy, private companies are setting up businesses on government lands. This is happening because officials are not paying enough attention. As a result, these lands are being sold as plots, leading to significant losses worth crores.

    In the past, the government provided Lavani patta lands to help poor families improve their lives. However, after the State bifurcation and the creation of new districts, the value of agricultural lands has increased dramatically, reaching crores.

    Due to this price surge, government lands in the district are now unprotected. Lands with Lavani pattas, which have been in use for many years, are being turned into plots by private individuals.

    Fraudsters are tricking innocent people with fake documents and selling these plots at low prices to make money. They are targeting lands next to government properties and setting up illegal businesses. Some have even started converting government lands into plots and are misleading the public.
