    Private degree and PG colleges affiliated with MGU in the Erstwhile Nalgonda district have decided to shut down indefinitely starting from November 20. This decision comes as a protest over the non-release of fee reimbursement funds for the past three years.

    The college managements have expressed their struggles in running the institutions without the reimbursement. They have also stated that they are unable to conduct the upcoming semester exams and announced that they will boycott the exams as a part of their protest.

    A memorandum outlining their issues was submitted to the MGU Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, and Controller of the university. The submission was led by the president of the Association of Private Degree and PG Colleges, Nagender Reddy, from Neelagiri Degree and PG College.

    Members of the association held a meeting before submitting the memorandum, seeking a resolution to their problems.
