    Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated a new railway line in Hyderabad. The line stretches for 37 kilometers and connects Jaklair and Krishna. The construction of this railway line cost Rs 500 crore. This new line brings the backward district of Narayanpet onto the railway map for the first time. The Prime Minister also flagged off the inaugural train service from Hyderabad (Kacheguda) to Raichur, which will pass through Krishna station.

    This train service will connect several districts in Telangana, including Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Narayanpet, with Raichur district in Karnataka. It will provide rail connectivity to new areas in the backward districts of Mahabubnagar and Narayanpet. This will benefit students, daily commuters, laborers, and the local handloom industry in the region.

    In addition to the railway line dedication, PM Modi virtually inaugurated five new buildings at the University of Hyderabad. These include the School of Economics, School of Mathematics & Statistics, School of Management Studies, Lecture Hall Complex – III, and Sarojini Naidu School of Arts & Communication (Annexe). The infrastructure upgrade at the university aims to provide better facilities and amenities for the students and faculty.
