Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent his greetings to the people on the occasion of Ashadha Ekadashi. This day holds significance for devotees as it marks the beginning of a four-month period called ‘chaturmaas’, during which Lord Vishnu is believed to take rest. It is considered inauspicious to engage in any auspicious activities during this time.
In a tweet, Modi wished everyone a blessed Ashadhi Ekadashi. He expressed his hope that this sacred day would inspire people to embrace virtues such as devotion, humility, and compassion, in accordance with the Warkari tradition. He also sought the blessings of Lord Vitthal and urged everyone to work together towards building a happy, peaceful, and inclusive society.
