Archaka Maha Sabha Held in Jogulamba Gadwal
The Archaka Maha Sabha was recently conducted at the Sri Sri Sri Veerabrahmendra Swamy Temple in Ieeja Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District. This marked the first meeting after Chakravarti Acharyulu was elected as the Dhupa Deepa Naivedya District President for the region. Archakas (temple priests) honored him with garlands to celebrate his new leadership role.

1. Salary Increase: The Archakas requested the new Congress government to raise their minimum salary to ₹22,000, as the previous BRS government only provided nominal wages.
2. Housing Support: Priests without proper housing appealed for land allocations through government schemes like Indiramma Housing.
3. Job Security: The Archakas emphasized the importance of permanent employment safeguards to ensure stability.
4. Healthcare Benefits: They proposed free medical treatment for themselves and their families in case of health issues.
5. Access to Welfare Schemes: The priests urged the government to include them in various welfare initiatives.
