    President Droupadi Murmu concluded her winter visit to Hyderabad and flew back to Delhi in an Indian Air Force special flight. The Governor, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, and Ministers bid her farewell at Hakimpet Air Force Station. President Droupadi Murmu had arrived in Hyderabad on December 18 for her southern trip at Rashtrapati Nilayam, the official presidential retreat in Secunderabad.

    During her stay, the President attended various events. She participated in the centenary celebrations of the Hyderabad Public School on December 19. She also visited Pochampally village, known for Pochampally sarees, and interacted with handloom weavers. Additionally, she attended the golden jubilee celebrations of the MNR Educational Trust.

    On December 21, the President inaugurated several projects at Rashtrapati Nilayam. These included a 120-feet flag post, replicating the historic flag post erected in 1867. Rashtrapati Nilayam spans 90 acres and features beautiful gardens, waterfalls, and nutrition gardens. The building itself has 20 rooms, including a dining hall and a movie theater.

    Since 1955, every President has visited Hyderabad for a one-week southern trip each year. In March of this year, Rashtrapati Nilayam was opened to the public.
