Before heading to Appapur, Dr. Swarajya Lakshmi made a surprise visit to the Mannanur Primary Health Center (PHC). During the inspection, she reviewed attendance registers, checked the availability of medicines, and examined hospital records. She instructed the medical staff to increase the number of deliveries performed at the hospital to improve maternal care.

At Appapur, Dr. Swarajya Lakshmi focused on the health of pregnant women. She reviewed their Mother and Child Protection (M.C.P.) cards and educated them about the importance of taking calcium tablets during pregnancy. She also discussed any health concerns they had and recommended using the 102 ambulance service for medical tests. Additionally, she advised pregnant women to get admitted to government hospitals a week before their expected delivery dates to ensure safe childbirth.
