The new Parliament building in India was inaugurated with a prayer ceremony that included leaders from many different religions. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other government officials attended the ceremony, which aimed to promote religious harmony.
The new building was constructed using materials from various regions of India. The Ashoka Chakras inside the building were supplied from Indore, and the sandstone used for the structure came from Samthura in Rajasthan.
After the ceremony, PM Modi was presented with a “Sengol,” which he then installed in the new Parliament building. The inauguration will take place in two stages.
