Karimnagar: Graduates, unemployed youth, and employees have come forward to support Prasanna Harikrishna, who is contesting for the Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Adilabad, and Medak Graduate MLC seat. On Sunday, he attended gatherings in Huzurabad, Jammikunta, and Siddipet, where he interacted with supporters.
Speaking at these events, Harikrishna praised the people of these regions for their past decisions in elections. He noted that they had previously rejected electoral manipulations and refused monetary inducements of up to Rs 10,000 per vote. He urged them to maintain the same spirit in this election as well.
Harikrishna pointed out that graduates face many challenges, which are often ignored by those in power. He criticized people who entered politics to protect the wealth they made from high student fees while paying low salaries to their employees. He found it ironic that such individuals were now claiming to care about the problems of graduates and unemployed youth.
As an academic professional, Harikrishna said he understands the difficulties faced by graduates. He reminded the people that he had resigned from his government job of 19 years, believing in their support. He promised to work hard to create job opportunities for graduates and the unemployed.
He explained that his decision to run for MLC was driven by the desire to bring change in politics and support unemployed graduates. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received and assured that he would continue to fight for their rights and welfare.
The gatherings in Huzurabad, Jammikunta, and Siddipet saw a large turnout of graduates, unemployed youth, and supporters. They stood together to declare their support for Harikrishna’s candidature.
