Residents of Begumpet Basti have accused BRS MLA Danam Nagender of taking over their lands. They lodged a complaint with the Minister on Tuesday and held a rally from Prakash Nagar to Praja Bhavan, carrying flexi and placards.

The residents claim that they had purchased the land during the time of late leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy and are now facing eviction attempts. They also allege that followers of Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender have been threatening them.
