BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao addressed three election meetings on Sunday and warned people about the power problems in Karnataka. He criticized the comments made by Karnataka minister DK Shivakumar and said that if the Congress is voted to power in the state, power problems will return.
During his speeches, KCR mainly targeted leaders of the Congress and BJP-ruled states. He criticized the Karnataka Deputy CM for claiming that there is only five hours of power supply in his state. KCR stated that this is insulting to the people of Telangana who already receive 24-hour power supply.
KCR also criticized state Congress leaders like Uttam Kumar Reddy, Bhatti Vikramarka, and Revanth Reddy for their statements about the Rythu Bandhu scheme and power supply. He questioned how the Congress plans to provide financial assistance to farmers without the Dharani land record system.
KCR promised to link Sriram Sagar project water to Nalgonda constituencies and solve the water crisis in the district. He blamed the Congress leaders for not addressing the water problems caused by the construction of Nagarjunasagar dam.
Despite warnings from some leaders, KCR expressed confidence in Bollam Mallaiah Yadav’s chances in Kodad and promised to implement Dalit Bandhu in Tungaturthi constituency. He also assured a positive political future for Bikshmaiah Goud and mentioned plans to fill Baswapur with water within a few months.
