    BRS working president K T Rama Rao, who is also the IT Minister, stated on Friday that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s membership of Lok Sabha was canceled because he insulted the surname of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He questioned the Speaker about what action will be taken against Bandi Sanjay for insulting Telangana Chief Minister.

    Rahul Gandhi had previously made a controversial comment about why all thieves have Modi as their last name. Following a complaint by BJP leaders, Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in prison. As a result, his Lok Sabha membership was revoked by the Speaker. However, the Supreme Court granted relief to Rahul Gandhi by staying the sentence. Consequently, his Lok Sabha membership has been reinstated by the Speaker.

    KTR raised concerns about the comments made by Bandi Sanjay and demanded to know what action will be taken in response.

    In other news, Minister KTR expressed joy over receiving environmental clearances for the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project. He extended his congratulations to the farmers in the joint Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts.
