    Hyderabad: The Postal Department of Telangana is inviting applications for the Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana scholarship for the year 2024-25. This scholarship is open to students from Classes VI to IX who study in recognized schools in Telangana. To be eligible, students must have a good academic record and pursue philately (the collection and study of stamps) as a hobby.

    The Department of Posts introduced this scholarship to encourage more students to take an interest in philately. The scholarship, called the Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana (Scholarship for Promotion of Aptitude & Research in Stamps as a Hobby), aims to spread awareness and increase participation in the study of stamps.

    Each selected student will receive a total of Rs 6,000 in scholarship money. This amount will be paid in installments of Rs 1,500, given every three months over a year. The scholarship will be awarded to 10 students from each class.

    Students who are interested in applying must submit their applications in the required format. Applications should be sent to the office of the senior superintendent of post offices, Secunderabad Division, Hyderabad-500 080, before September 13.
