    Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, has spoken out against the recent terrorist attack in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack resulted in the death of five Army soldiers and serious injury to another. Owaisi called the attack cowardly and condemned it.

    The Army has confirmed that the soldiers who lost their lives were from a Rashtriya Rifles battalion that was involved in counterterrorism operations. According to reports, an unknown terrorist group attacked the truck carrying the soldiers and set it on fire, possibly using a grenade.

    Owaisi expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers through a late-night tweet on Thursday. He also wished for a speedy recovery for the injured soldier.

    In response to the attack, protesters from the Bajrang Dal and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad gathered in Jammu on Thursday night. They demanded severe punishment for the terrorists who were responsible for the attack on the Army vehicle in Poonch.
