    Hyderabad’s Minister for Transport, Ponnam Prabhakar, has instructed officials to ensure the success of the Bonalu festivities in the city. Alongside Endowments Minister Konda Surekha, he distributed cheques to temple committees at Tourism Plaza. The State government has allocated Rs 20 crore for managing the temple committees and organizing the festival on a large scale.

    The annual Ashadam Bonalu festivities will kick off at Golconda temple on Sunday, July 7. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has emphasized the importance of preserving Telangana cultural traditions by celebrating the festival grandly. Minister Prabhakar mentioned that the Goddess wishes for happiness, abundant rains, and good crops in Telangana.

    To avoid any issues during the celebrations, the Minister has ordered officials to take necessary precautions. He also urged the public to cooperate to ensure the festival’s success while maintaining peace and security.
