Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar spoke at a meeting in Sircilla on Saturday. The meeting was attended by Congress leaders and workers from the Vemulawada Assembly Constituency. The meeting was chaired by Sircilla DCC President and Government Whip Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas.
Ponnam Prabhakar mentioned that there are 283 booths in the Vemulawada constituency. He emphasized the need for everyone to work together to ensure a majority in all 283 booths during the upcoming election. Those who perform well will be given positions based on their performance.
Prabhakar also discussed various schemes and developments implemented by the Congress party until 2014. He criticized Vinod Kumar for moving the textile park to Warangal instead of Sircilla, where it was originally supposed to be located. He accused Vinod Kumar of prioritizing his own interests over the needs of the people.
Prabhakar also criticized the BJP and BRS for their actions regarding Kavitha’s arrest and their attempts to elect BJP candidates. He warned against the potential consequences of a BJP government coming into power, suggesting that it could lead to a dictatorship replacing Ambedkar’s constitution.
He questioned why funds were not raised for important temples like Vemulawada Rajanna and Kondagattu, demanding an explanation from Bandi Sanjay. The meeting was attended by various other political figures and activists from the district.
