Hyderabad: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar criticized Union Ministers G Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay. He said they have not been effective in getting benefits for the State. Prabhakar asked Kishan Reddy, the MP from Secunderabad, to show his commitment to Hyderabad by getting funds from the central government for the city’s development.

Speaking to the media at the Assembly Media Point, Prabhakar questioned what Kishan Reddy has done for Hyderabad during his time as the Union Tourism Minister. He criticized the central government for not giving funds for Hyderabad’s development and accused it of not supporting the state government’s plans. Prabhakar mentioned that the state government had told the central government what it needed before the budget was made, but got no help. He wondered why the Centre gave money for the Ganga rejuvenation project but ignored the Musi River in Hyderabad.
