    Former Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah held a press conference at the Congress Bhavan in Hanumakonda on Friday. He predicted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be sent to Cherlapally jail after the upcoming elections, and that the Congress will form the government and recover all illegally amassed assets by KCR and his family.

    Ponnala also mentioned that the upcoming Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting in Tukkuguda will have a significant impact on national politics. He stated that the definition of politics has changed since 2014, with ruling party leaders at the Centre and in the State taking advantage of their positions for personal gain.

    He praised Rahul Gandhi’s efforts to unite distressed people through his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Ponnala criticized Narendra Modi’s failed promises, such as Make in India, Atmanirbhar Bharat, and Har Ghar Jal. He highlighted the increase in deposits of Indians in Swiss banks during Modi’s tenure and the ongoing issue of unemployment.

    Overall, Ponnala expressed his concern about the current state of politics and emphasized the need for change.
