Political parties in Hyderabad are preparing for the upcoming elections and planning to launch their campaigns in the first week of October. They are competing with each other to have high-tech campaigns, which has led to a sudden demand for customized vehicles equipped with LED screens for live streaming.

The BRS party has an advantage as they have already announced the list of their 119 candidates. However, the Congress and BJP parties are yet to announce their candidates, causing some aspirants to prepare in anticipation. The BJP aspirant from Kamareddy has already prepared his campaign vehicle. All parties expect the Election Commission to announce the schedule by October 10.

Leaders believe that campaigning with custom-made vehicles will help them reach people directly and faster than traditional methods like padyatra and door-to-door campaigns. Videos and live streaming will also attract more crowds to their meetings. Sources reveal that the BJP has booked the most campaign vehicles compared to other parties. Ministers from BRS, such as V Srinivas Goud, G Jagadish Reddy, and Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy, have also prepared their swanky vehicles. The Excise Minister will start his campaign on Friday or Saturday.

Sometimes, political leaders require more than one vehicle to cover their constituency. Due to high demand, vehicle suppliers are even hiring vehicles from neighboring states. The demand for customized vehicles has increased in the last two weeks, with the BJP having the highest number of bookings at 60, followed by BRS at 25 and Congress at 20. However, the supply of vehicles is limited. Some leaders rent vehicles on a monthly basis, while others spend more than Rs 10 lakh on a custom-made vehicle.
