Tension at Dr. BR Ambedkar Statue during Bandi Sanjay's Rally
In Hyderabad, there was a tense situation at the Dr. BR Ambedkar statue in Liberty. This happened when a group of job aspirants and BJP supporters got into an argument with leaders and members of the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) party.
The tension began when Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s rally, called ‘Chalo Secretariat’, reached Liberty. Bandi Sanjay wanted to garland the statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar as a form of protest against a government order known as GO No. 29. At the same time, BRS leaders including RS Praveen Kumar, Dasoju Shravan, and Jai Simha, who is the son of the Mushirabad MLA, were also present at the location.
The situation quickly escalated when the unemployed job aspirants, who were part of Bandi Sanjay’s rally, began chanting slogans and demanding that the BRS leaders leave. There was a heavy police presence at the scene to prevent any violence.
To control the situation, the police decided to take Bandi Sanjay away in a police vehicle. This move was made to prevent the situation from getting worse and to maintain peace at the Liberty Center.
