Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, along with Bahadurpura Police, conducted a raid on an illegal hookah parlour in Bahadurpura. The parlour was secretly operating under the name of “The Wolf Café & Lounge.” During the operation, seven people were arrested, including four customers.
According to the police, the café was providing hookah services illegally. A case was registered under Sections 223 BNS, and Sections 6 & 7 of the COTP Act for violating the law.
The individuals arrested include Mohd Abdul Muzammil (26), the owner of the café, Mohd Furkhan Ahmed (18), the manager, and Mohd Nazeer (41), who supplied hookah flavors. The police also arrested four customers present at the time of the raid. During the operation, police seized 19 hookah pots, five boxes of hookah flavors, and six boxes of hookah coils, all valued at Rs 30,000.
