As part of his annual inspection, IG Satyanarayana reviewed the work of various departments, including the district police office, Armed Reserve (AR) headquarters, District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB), District Police Office (DPO), bomb squad, and dog squad. He expressed satisfaction with their overall performance.

The IG highlighted that while Bhupalapally district has been affected by Maoist activities, the influence of extremist groups in the region is declining. He emphasized the strategic importance of Palimela mandal due to its location bordering Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh, areas known for dense forests that have served as Maoist-supporting zones. Satyanarayana urged the police to stay alert and proactive in such sensitive areas.

The IG advised the police to adopt a balanced approach by being friendly and approachable to the public while remaining firm with offenders. He encouraged all police officers and personnel in the district to prioritize public safety and work towards ensuring peace and security in the region.
