Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Police Commissioner, Avinash Mohanty, stressed the importance of recognizing police officers who show exceptional skills, dedication, and commitment to public service. He encouraged the police force to continue their hard work and aim for more honors in the future.
The Commissioner spoke at a grand ‘Reward Mela’ held on Friday in Gachibowli, where police personnel were honored for their outstanding service. The event celebrated the dedication and contributions of officers to law enforcement.
Avinash Mohanty personally presented the awards to the officers. He congratulated the winners and pointed out that both the State and Central governments recognize police officers each year with service medals to appreciate their efforts.
For the year 2024, a total of 107 medals were awarded to police personnel. These included 76 bronze medals for Seva Pathakams, given on Telangana Formation Day 2024, four gold medals under the Ati Utkrishta Seva Padak (2020 and 2024) category, and 27 silver medals under the Utkrishta Seva Padak (2020 and 2024) category. The recipients were officers from different ranks, honored for their dedication, integrity, and service in maintaining law and order, public safety, and crime prevention.
The Commissioner noted that these awards boost morale and serve as motivation for other officers. He encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence in their duties.
