Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, the BJP candidate, is facing trouble once again. The Mangalhat police have issued show cause notices to him for publicly displaying banned weapons during Ayudha Puja on Dussehra. He has also received two inquiry notices for hate speech.

A video of Raja Singh worshipping with guns and knives went viral on social media. The police stated that the video, which Raja Singh uploaded on October 16, contained hate speech.

In the video, Raja Singh asked the organizers not to allow Muslims to participate in Navratri Dandiya events and celebrations. He also requested to check the identity cards of all attendees and not to hire Muslim bouncers, videographers, DJ operators, or other personnel for the event. A case has been registered against him based on a complaint filed by local leader MA Samad Warsi. The case has been registered under IPC sections 153A, 295A, and 504.

Raja Singh responded by accusing the government of deliberately issuing notices. He questioned whether the police would also issue notice to Chief Minister KCR, who performed weapon pooja on Dussehra. Raja Singh alleged that the CM is trying to harass him and disqualify him from contesting the elections.
