The Hyderabad police denied BJP MLA T Raja Singh permission to hold a procession on Ram Navami. Singh’s application was rejected by the police, despite him submitting it on February 14.

The main procession from Seetarambagh temple will still take place as scheduled by the Sri Ram Navami Shobha Yatra Committee.

Singh expressed disappointment, noting that he has organized the Shobha Yatra since 2010. He believes that the police’s decision this year may be due to the change in government, suggesting that restrictions on Hindu festivals have been imposed in Congress-ruled states.

Singh asserted that the Shobha Yatra will begin from Aakash puri Hanuman Temple as planned, emphasizing that no one can prevent it from happening.
