Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the State Assembly Speaker and candidate for the BRS party, filed his nomination papers for the upcoming Assembly elections in Banswada. He arrived at the returning office in a party-branded car and submitted his first set of nominations.
Srinivas Reddy expressed his gratitude to the people of Banswada constituency, stating that he has been working tirelessly for them and has won all but one election since 1994. He thanked them for their love and support.
He criticized the Congress party for not keeping their promises, such as providing 7 hours of electricity to Karnataka and free bus travel for women. He alleged that the Congress party closed the buses after winning the elections.
Srinivas Reddy stated that the BRS manifesto is realistic and achievable. He mentioned that surveys show the BRS has no competition in many seats and is confident in coming to power for a third term. He also predicted that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will become a hat-trick CM.
