During his address to the MPs, PM Modi announced that they will be moving to the new Parliament building. He expressed his determination to fulfill the goal of a developed India. PM Modi also highlighted the significance of the Parliament in bringing justice to Muslim mothers and sisters through the passing of the law against triple talaq. He mentioned that laws benefiting transgender individuals and specially-abled people have also been passed in recent years. PM Modi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to abolish Article 370 from the Parliament. The old Parliament will be named Sanvidhan Sadhan in honor of those who contributed to the formation of the Indian Constitution.
