Controversy Over Women's Day Banners in Gadwal

A controversy has arisen in Gadwal over banners displayed during Women’s Day celebrations near the MLA camp office. The event was organized by Bandla Jyothi, wife of MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy. The banners featured photos of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on one side and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on the other. Although this was not an official government event, Minister Jupally attended as a chief guest at the MLA’s invitation.

Gongalla Ranjith Kumar, District Chairman of the Nadigadda Rights Struggle Committee, criticized MLA Krishna Mohan Reddy for his inconsistent stance. He pointed out that a few months ago, the MLA claimed he had no connection with the Congress party. At that time, he even filed a complaint at the Gadwal Town Police Station against the unauthorized use of his photo in Congress banners. However, now his wife has personally arranged banners featuring Congress leaders.

Ranjith questioned whether the MLA would take action against his own wife for using Congress leaders’ images in the banners. He also accused Minister Jupally of endorsing the MLA’s statements and demanded that the minister clarify why he attended a private event at the MLA’s residence.
