Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy criticized Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, saying he is traveling around the state with ‘donkey eggs’ on his head. Reddy alleged that people are starting to think the Congress party has changed its symbol to ‘donkey eggs’.
Speaking to the media, Reddy mentioned that people had voted out former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government and brought Congress to power. However, he believes that the current government is similar to the previous one, based on lies and running a governance focused on ‘donkey eggs’.
Reddy accused both CM KCR and the Congress of making promises they did not keep just to deceive the public. He also mentioned that the Centre has approved the construction of a Sainik School and Navodaya Schools in Warangal district during the BJP’s third term.
The BJP leader highlighted that it was KCR who promised to establish a steel factory in Bayyaram, and the Congress-led UPA government merged six Telangana villages with Andhra Pradesh as part of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. He also pointed out ongoing railway development projects in Telangana under the BJP government.
Reddy criticized Congress for claiming credit for providing jobs and projects that were initiated by the previous government. He urged people to question Congress leaders about unfulfilled promises made during the State Assembly elections. Reddy expressed confidence that BJP will secure a majority of seats in Telangana in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
