Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, addressed the people in Thorrur and urged them to choose between the corrupt Congress party and the BRS party that has implemented numerous welfare schemes. He mentioned that during the Congress’ rule of over five decades, people faced many difficulties. He praised Chief Minister KCR for his efforts in providing irrigation facilities through the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to farmers. He also highlighted the Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima initiatives, which are unique to Telangana. He warned against trusting politicians who use cash for their political gains.
Errabelli Dayakar Rao also mentioned the development of self-governing gram panchayats and access to basic infrastructure and clean drinking water in Thandas. He urged people not to believe the false promises of the Congress party. Minister for Tribal Welfare, Satyavathi Rathod, questioned the Congress party’s ability to fulfill its election promises and criticized them for not implementing their promises in other states where they are in power. She also questioned the suitability of a US-based candidate, Manaswini, fielded by the Congress party against Errabelli in the Palakurthi constituency.
Rathod further criticized the Congress party for being led by A Revanth Reddy, who has been involved in a cash-for-vote scam. She encouraged people to re-elect Errabelli with a significant majority, highlighting the all-round development achieved in the Palakurthi constituency. The event was attended by Usha Dayakar Rao, chairperson of Errabelli Dayakar Rao Charitable Trust, and Nagurla Venkateshwarlu, chairman of Debt Relief Commission.
