The Congress party in Hyderabad wants to continue its strategy of comparing the BRS and BJP during the Lok Sabha election campaign. They will emphasize that the BJP mixes religion with politics, while the Congress is a secular party. To reach more people, the party is strengthening its social media wing. This decision came after a review meeting with State coordinators. District level meetings have begun at Gandhi Bhavan, and mandal level coordinators are being activated to handle social media content and ensure it reaches as many people as possible. They will focus on highlighting grassroots issues at the local level and national issues at the state level. Additionally, they will counter the BJP-BRS campaign against the Congress party and the new government. Social media coordinator Naveen Pettam held a review meeting with coordinators from Khammam district. During the Assembly polls, the Congress effectively used social media to counter BRS claims. Mandal-level coordinators shared content and acted as a bridge between booth level and Assembly constituency level workers. They were trained in using Twitter, Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, and were given tabs by the party.
