Adilabad: Payala Shankar, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for the Adilabad assembly constituency, visited Laxmipur, Ananthpur, and Kura villages in Jainath mandal as part of his election campaign on Sunday.
Speaking at the event, Shankar highlighted that the BJP central government has implemented the Fasal Bheema Scheme to support farmers. However, he criticized the BRS government for deceiving farmers who have suffered crop losses by offering inadequate compensation through the crop insurance scheme.
During his campaign, Shankar urged the people to vote for BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.
The presence of Ramdas Potaraju, Ramesh Karunakar Reddy, Venkanna, Ramesh Ashok Reddy, Vishal Bhumanna, and others was noted during the campaign.
