Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Janasena party, was named the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. This announcement was made along with the unveiling of the state cabinet’s portfolios.
In addition to his role as Deputy CM, Pawan Kalyan will oversee Panchayati Raj, Rural Development and Rural Water Supply, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology. Meanwhile, Nara Chandrababu Naidu will handle GAD, Law & Order, Public Enterprises, and any other portfolios not assigned to other ministers.
Anitha Vangalapudi has been tasked with Home Affairs and Disaster Management, Sathya Kumar Yadav will oversee Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education, and P Keshav has been given Finance, Planning, Commercial Taxes, and Legislative ministry responsibilities. P Narayanan will focus on Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD).
Kinjarapu Atchannaidu will handle Agriculture, Cooperation, Marketing, Animal Husbandry, and Dairy Developments. M Ram Prasad Reddy has been appointed to oversee Transport, while Kandula Durgesh will manage Youth and Sports, Tourism, Culture, and Cinematography ministries.
