The new Government in Andhra Pradesh is about to be formed with the inclusion of the BJP and Jana Sena Party in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet. Pawan Kalyan has confirmed his intention to join the Government after days of uncertainty, as stated by him in a national media interview.
Lokesh will also be part of the cabinet, and the roles of Pawan Kalyan and Lokesh in the new Government have been clarified. The successful implementation of election promises and coordination among the three parties will be crucial.
Chandrababu Naidu’s ability to coordinate with ruling allies in AP will be tested this time. The number of ministers from Jana Sena and BJP has already been decided, and the oath-taking ceremony for Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan as Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will take place on May 12.
Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu are discussing the allocation of ministerial portfolios, with Janasena likely to receive four ministerial posts. Pawan Kalyan is expected to oversee the Home and Rural Development departments, while Lokesh will handle IT, Industries, and Urban Development departments to focus on youth employment in the capital region.
The construction of Amaravati will also fall under urban development, with uncertainty regarding whether Lokesh or Narayana will be responsible for overseeing it.
