A meeting was held on Tuesday in Hyderabad to discuss coordination between leaders and cadre of the BRS party. During the meeting, leaders expressed their displeasure over the negligence by the leadership and the importance being given to MIM leaders. However, senior leaders assured them that their issues would be solved and asked them to focus on the people since it was an election year. The meeting was held at the Telangana Bhavan and was chaired by Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Hyderabad district president M Gopinath and MLAs like Deputy Speaker T Padma Rao Goud and Mutha Gopal were absent. Legislators Kaleru Venkatesh and Danam Nagender were present.
One of the leaders pointed out that they have been working for the party but have been ignored. They urged the leadership to focus on ground-level issues and not give importance to MIM leaders, which they felt was insulting for the cadre being in the ruling party. They also expressed their frustration with not knowing how to bring their issues to the notice of the party leadership or whom to meet. Yadav pacified the leaders by noting down their issues and assuring them that he would take them to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
The party leaders were advised to open social media accounts to counter the propaganda of opposition parties and promote government programs so that they reach the common man. The opposition parties like BJP and Congress will target the party during elections, so it is essential to use various social media platforms to counter them with proof. The leaders were informed that they should use social media effectively, especially during elections.
